Turmeric root (India) 100 gr

Dried turmeric root retains its beneficial properties and taste in its original form. In cooking, turmeric is used to prepare dishes from meat, vegetables, rice and legumes. The spice has a subtle taste, but in large quantities gives the dish a strong pungency. Turmeric as a natural coloring will add a golden hue to dishes. Turmeric root is quite hard. Before grinding, we recommend beating the root with a kitchen hammer, and then sifting through a sieve and, if necessary, grinding again. 

A slight error up or down is allowed +- 5g.
